photographer awarded for recording "chernobyl's human cost"

Photographer Eamon Ward recently visited Belarus with Chernobyl Children's Project International.  His poignant images from our project sites were recognized by the Center Santa Fe Review in New Mexico.

The photo shown here was taken at the Soltanovka mental asylum for adults.  CCPI volunteers have renovated the most dilapidated parts of the buildings.
